You can generate a professional PPTX deck from JSON-only data or a stored PPTX template while keeping layout and branding predictable.
Step 1
Choose the generation approach
- Use JSON-only generation for fast decks.
Call the JSON-to-PPTX endpoint when the API should create slides, theme colors, logos, bullets, tables, and textboxes without an uploaded template.
- Use template generation for strict branding.
Call the template-to-PPT endpoint when the client requires exact layouts, master slides, fonts, spacing, icons, and approved PowerPoint designs.
- Keep content and design separate.
Use JSON for changing business data and PPTX templates for visual control.
Step 2
Prepare a PPTX template
- Create reusable slides.
Add branded cover, content, table, and closing slides in PowerPoint.
- Use placeholders.
Use tags such as {{title}}, {{subtitle}}, {{company}}, {{solution}}, and {{bullets}} where MindX should inject data.
- Upload the template.
Open Dashboard > Templates, select PPTX, upload the file, and copy the generated template_id.
Step 3
Call the API
- Send template_id or JSON slides.
Provide file_name, data, slides, bullets, tables, images, and theme fields according to the selected endpoint.
- Add logos and tables.
Use image URLs for logos and table columns/rows for structured comparison slides.
- Validate output.
Open the generated deck and check branding, line breaks, bullet levels, tables, and image placement.
